Our Mission · 使命宗旨
PUAAWA is established with the mission to foster, maintain and support a mutually beneficial relationship between alumni in the State of Washington and the Peking University; build up a platform for alumni to connect, communicate and collaborate; encourage and organize alumni to serve the local community and the general public. The Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
北大华州校友会成立的宗旨是：促进、维系并支持华盛顿州校友与北京大学之间互惠互利的关系；搭建校友联络、交流与合作的平台；鼓励并组织校友服务当地社区及广大公众。本机构的设立专为慈善、教育及科学目的，其中包括向符合美国《国内税收法》第 501(c)(3) 条款（或未来联邦税法相应条款）规定的免税资格组织进行捐赠或拨款。
